As an Asia Pacific SkyMiles Platinum Elite or Gold Elite member, you receive complimentary access to all Delta Sky Club, KLM Lounges1, Aeromexico’s Salón Premier Lounges, Alaska Airlines Board Rooms2. China Airlines Dynasty Lounges, China Southern Lounges, Continental Airline’ Presidents Clubs and select Air France3 lounges.
When traveling, simply present your SkyMiles Platinum Elite or Gold Elite membership card for admittance. You may bring one guest with you free of charge when you visit a club, unless otherwise noted.

Access to Select Seating
SkyMiles Medallion members may take advantage of Select Seating preferences on most Northwest flights that offer advance seat assignments. The Select Seating benefit allows you to choose from available seats where you’d like to sit in Economy Class, such as the exit rows, the bulkhead or the first few rows in the front of the cabin.
You may extend Select Seating privileges so you may sit together with your travel companions on Northwest-operated flights and one companion on Continental-operated flights. You and your companion(s) must be booked on the same reservation. Companions of qualified Select Seating customers will lose select seats if the qualifying customer upgrades to another class of service. Children may be seated in the Select Seating area only if they qualify for Select Seating or are accompanied by a qualifying parent. Children under the age of 15 may not occupy exit row seating. Select Seating is not available on Northwest Airlink or other affiliate flights and is subject to availability at the time of seat selection.
To ensure that you receive your seating preferences, please advise the reservations sales agent or travel professional when making your reservation. Select Seating is not available on flights between Japan and Honolulu/Guam/Saipan. Customers seated in the exit rows must meet certain criteria. Airport agents will give final approval.

Access to Coach Choice seats
SkyMiles Medallion members may take advantage of complimentary access to Coach Choice seating 24 hours prior to departure. Coach Choice saves some preferred exit row, aisle and window seats until check-in.

Elite member travel profile
Your individual Elite Travel Profile helps expedite reservations and ensures personalized service whenever you call Northwest Reservations. The personal preferences you specify in your Elite Travel Profile are accessed only by Northwest Reservations staff, and are used to customize and simplify your ticket purchases. Elite Boarding Lanes
SkyMiles Medallion members may board with First Class/BusinessElite® passengers at any time during general boarding by using our dedicated Elite boarding lanes designated at the gate. Late arriving SkyMiles Medallion members may bypass the general boarding line by using Elite boarding lanes at any time after the pre-boarding of passengers with special needs. Elite boarding lanes are available at all cities with flights operated by Northwest Airlines unless otherwise prohibited by the local airport authority.

Express Security Checkpoints
Northwest is pleased to offer Express Security Checkpoints at select U.S. airports for SkyMiles Platinum and Gold Elite members, as well as First and BusinessElite customers. Simply present your First or BusinessElite boarding pass or your SkyMiles membership card at the Express Security Checkpoint.

Extra Check-In Luggage Allowance on KLM Operated Flights
KLM extends a generous free extra check-in luggage allowance for SkyMiles Medallion members when traveling on KLM operated flights between Asia and Europe on which the weight concept applies. In addition to the weight applicable to the fare and printed in the allowance box of the ticket, Elite members may check-in with an additional allowance:
