Introducing the 2010 SkyMiles® Medallion® Program

As you know, the WorldPerks® and SkyMiles programs soon will merge to become the world's largest and best-in-class loyalty program in the industry. As part of the integration, we’re rolling out the 2010 SkyMiles Medallion program, in which we’ve taken the best of both worlds—Delta SkyMiles and Northwest WorldPerks—to give our Elite flyers the benefits and privileges they deserve, including new program features such a Rollover MQMs, Choice Benefits, a new Diamond tier and other industry-leading benefits. New Medallion Benefits

Coming spring 2010, you can enjoy these new Medallion benefits:

• Diamond Medallion Status: you’ll be a member of this new elite level for earning 125,000 Medallion Qualification Miles or 140 segments. This level will enjoy complimentary Delta Sky Club™ membership, a 125% mileage bonus, more fee waivers and exclusive rewards.
  
• Rollover Medallion Qualification Miles (MQMs): It’s an airline first—any MQMs you earn above your Medallion qualification level at the end of the year will roll over to your MQM balance for the following year. There’s no limit.
  
• Choice Benefits: Now you have the flexibility to choose the elite benefits that best fit you, when you earn Platinum and Diamond Medallion status. The choices include new Systemwide Upgrade Certificates that include a day of departure option, the ability to gift Medallion status for a friend, bonus miles you can keep or donate to a SkyWish charity and Delta Sky Club One-Day passes.

Taxes (and if applicable, fees) for Award Travel are the responsibility of the passenger and must be paid at the time the ticket is booked. Rollover benefit means Medallion Qualification Miles earned in 2009 above member’s earned Medallion threshold level will be rolled over to 2010 and will count toward 2011 Medallion status qualification. Please allow 6-8 weeks for fulfillment of Choice Benefits.
